Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Focusway (the "Application"), developed by jeongsic yoo (the "Service Provider"). The Application is provided as a Freemium service, with certain features available through paid subscriptions or a lifetime purchase. The service is provided on an "AS IS" basis.
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects certain information when you download and use it. This may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Pages visited within the Application, date and time of visits, and time spent on those pages
- Total time spent using the Application
- The operating system of your mobile device
Subscription and Payment Information
When you purchase a paid subscription or lifetime access, the following additional information may be processed:
- Subscription status: Current subscription plan, start date, expiration date, auto-renewal status, and free trial usage
- Purchase receipts: Anonymized transaction receipts provided by the Apple App Store (for payment verification and subscription validation purposes)
- User identifiers: Anonymous user IDs generated by RevenueCat for subscription management
Note: The Service Provider does not collect or store direct payment information such as credit card numbers or bank account details. All payments are processed through the Apple App Store.
Location Information
The Application does not collect your precise location data.
However, your device's approximate location (Geolocation) may be used for the following purposes:
- Location-based services: Providing personalized content, tailored recommendations, and location-based features
- Analytics and improvements: Analyzing user behavior through anonymized location data to improve the Application's performance and features
- Third-party service integration: Anonymized location data may be shared with external services for the purpose of enhancing service quality and optimizing features
The Service Provider may also use your information to send you important notices, required notifications, and marketing promotions.
For an improved experience, the Application may request certain personally identifiable information, such as your email address and user ID (userId). This information is securely stored and used in accordance with this policy.
Third-Party Access
The Service Provider may transmit aggregated, anonymized data to external services to improve app performance and support operations.
These third-party services have their own privacy policies, which can be reviewed at the links below:
- RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management
- AdMob — In-app advertising (applies to free users only)
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Sentry
- PostHog — Product analytics
Note: Paid subscribers (Business and First Class) are not shown AdMob advertisements, and no data is collected through AdMob for these users.
The Service Provider may disclose user information in the following circumstances:
- As required by law (e.g., subpoenas, court orders)
- When deemed necessary to protect the rights or safety of the Service Provider or others
- When entrusted to trusted third-party partners who assist in operating the service (these parties have no independent right to use the information and must comply with this policy)
Opt-Out Rights
You may stop all information collection by deleting (uninstalling) the Application at any time. You can do so through the standard uninstall process on your device or through the App Store.
Note: Deleting the Application does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions must be canceled separately through your Apple App Store settings.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider retains user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable period thereafter. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us at the email below and we will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.
Children
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect information from or market to children under the age of 13. If the Service Provider becomes aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be promptly deleted.
Security
The Service Provider takes physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your information.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of any updates.
